Chocolate Chip Cookies



Ingredients


150 gr butter

235 gr plain flour

40 gr brown sugar

40 gr white sugar

1 egg

1 vanilla extract

1/2 bicarbonate of soda

a pinch of salt

100 gr chocolate chips


Method


  1. Preheat your oven at 190C/fan170C/gas 5.

  2. Beat the butter at room temperature with sugar until light and creamy.

  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract.

  4. Bring together dry ingredients into a bowl and mix them.

  5. Combine wet and dry ingredients until a soft mixture is formed.

  6. Blend in the chocolate chips.

  7. Shape the mixture into small balls and place them on a tray, lined with baking paper.

  8. Be sure to leave enough space between the cookies so they can expand as much as they need.

  9. Bake for 7-10 minutes until golden brown.

  10. Leave to cool and serve with a glass of milk, tea or a cup of aromatic coffee.
