Serve 4
Ingredients
250 gr spaghetti
2x80gr canned tuna
200 ml tomato juice
3 garlic cloves
1 onion
Basil leaves
Salt
Pepper
Grated parmesan
Method
Start by boiling your water for spaghetti. Add 1 tsp of salt. When ready add your pasta and cook it according to the package.
Drain the oil from tuna in a non-stick pan, add the chopped garlic cloves and onion. Leave to cook until golden.
Add tuna and tomato juice and leave to simmer on low-medium heat.
Add basil, season with salt and pepper and leave to reduce for 5 min, adding water from pasta when necessary.
When sauce is ready, add the pasta and mix. Add more water from pasta if needed so that you have enough sauce.
Serve with grated parmesan and fresh basil, chilli flakes or more pepper.
