Easy Crêpes Recipe

Crepes are probably our favourite quick and easy sweet breakfast treat. Here is a simple yet delicious crepes batter which can be made in minutes. It's made from ingredients that everyone has on hand.

🔸Ingredients

15 crêpes

350 flour

3 eggs

50 g melted butter

500 ml of cold milk

250 ml of mineral water

a pinch of salt

optional: vanilla, orange or lemon peel

oil for frying

🔸Method


  1. Add the eggs in a large bowl and whisk until fluffy using a hand mixer or a balloon whisk.

  2. Add in the butter, salt and half of the milk.

  3. Bring in the flour and make sure it’s well incorporated with no lumps.

  4. Now dilute the batter using the rest of the milk and the fizzy water.

  5. Finish off with a touch of vanilla extract, orange or lemon peel.

  6. Heat a non stick pan, about 25 cm wide, over medium heat. Add 2-3 drops of oil and 1/2 of a ladle with batter, rolling the pan so that the bottom of the pan is evenly coated.

  7. Flip the crepe after 1 minute using a palette knife and cook another 45 seconds. Stack them one by one on a plate.

  8. Continue until the batter is fully used.

  9. Fill your crêpes with your favourite filling.


Suggestion : Use chocolate ganache ( recipe bello 👇) and fresh fruits for an amazing taste.

🍫Chocolate Ganache recipe in 2 steps

Ingredients

50 gr unsalted butter

150 ml double cream

3 heap spoons of Nutella

Method

  1. Add all ingredients in a small pan.

  2. Place on medium heat and mix until well combined. Usually it takes around 2-3 minutes for the butter to melt and the sauce to form.

  3. Remove when you have a smooth sauce.
